Foom Software Presents

So a while back Evan Schoenberg and I were talking about Adium stuff, and then we started talking about other stuff as well.

You know, a normal day in the lives of the Lead and Project Manager on Adium. But this day was different. It was monumental. It was.. sometime a few months ago.

We discussed starting a shareware company. We discussed why, and how, and what and where.

Fast forward a few months and I present to you, Foom Software.

We haven't released anything yet, but we will within a month to two months. We're going to be working with Chris Emery and Vinay Venkatesh on this one (Vinay did MP3 Alarm Clock and a few other goodies back in the day).

On that note, I will be presenting at Cocoa Dev House Texas on September 9th. It's going to be a short presentation, and a much longer application demo or two of stuff Evan, Chris, Vinay and myself are all working on now.

It's something to plan your calendars around. Really. You should get to Austin, Texas however you can and show up.

"You should get to Austin, Texas however you can and show up."

Take a MacBook (Pro) there and record it for those of us who cannot make a trip around half the globe to be there in person :-)

I will capture the presentations and talk with developers for posting to CocoaRadio.

There should be a live video feed as well as IRC for all during CocoaDevHouse Texas. Check the wiki closer to the date for details.
